WebMar 26, 2024 · So, my train of thought is: since you are 100% sure it fell, then it's either an unlucky despawn. Maybe the game considered that you've been out of sight long enough. Because in my case the carcass always remained in my line of sight. Or you've been far from the body long enough, so that it's been marked for despawn.
