That second one is closer to what I'm looking for, but the first one will be great for NPC's I want to hash out a bit more information for. I'm not sure if I can write over top of an image in OneNote, but I'm going to check now. WebI use both. I find OneNote much easier to use for organizing sessions, NPCs, specific adventures, that sort of thing. I like the organization of having hierachical pages and notes, so for example I have each campaign as a section with room for adventures (with pages for individual sessions, maps, etc), timelines, NPCs, planning notes, backstories/PC details.
