Webb30 mars 2014 · From our drop-off point near Shittlehope Burn Farm (Stanhope) our route took in Parson Byers, Bollihope, the B6278 road at NY 991 320, Sharnberry Gill (lunch-stop), Sharnberry Flat, Black Hill, meeting of the Grains, Potato Hill (tea-stop), Low Redford, Bedburn, Howlea Bridge and Hamsterley. WebbOur route takes us first south over Islington Hill then on to Eggleston Common before descending then climbing again to Grey Carrs. We then turn north and follow the edge of Hamsterley Forest to Sharnberry Gill where we pick up the the miners track leading back to the start of our walk.
