WebWhen I was at SiFive there was one person (Alex) designing 2-series cores and one person (Andrew) designing 7-series cores. The OoO project (8-series, later P550, P650 etc) had a small team. Of course one person can do anything that needs less than 50 or 60 person-years of work, you just might not want to wait so long for it.
